- An experience modification factor is calculated for each employer member so there is individual accountability and the employer has the ability to lower future month-to-month costs for coverage, by taking advantage of the cost control services provided by PBSIG. The formula developed by CHSI is designed to support the operational priorities of self-insured groups.
